        It's not uncommon to forget a password from time to time. Whether it's for a website you haven't visited in a while or a new account you just created, it can be frustrating to not be able to access something because you can't remember the password. 

        Fortunately, many modern web browsers, such as Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, have built-in tools to help you retrieve saved passwords. These tools allow you to view the passwords you've previously saved in the browser, so you can easily recall them and get back to what you were doing. 

In this guide, we will discuss how to check the saved passwords on these popular browsers, in case you've forgotten a password and need to retrieve it.



Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser.
  2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click "Passwords" in the left sidebar.
  4. Enter your computer's password or use your fingerprint to verify your identity.
  5. Your saved passwords will be displayed here.


Safari:

  1. Click "Safari" in the top-left corner of the screen.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click "Passwords" in the top row of options.
  4. Enter your computer's password or use Touch ID to verify your identity.
  5. Your saved passwords will be displayed here.


Firefox:

  1. Click the three lines in the top-right corner of the browser.
  2. Select "Options" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click "Privacy & Security" in the left sidebar.
  4. Scroll down to the "Logins and Passwords" section.
  5. Click "Saved Logins" to view your saved passwords.
